Joy within sorrow

So you havent got what you needed
or something that you desired.
Stop, pause and think
you're not the only one on the brink.
We've got a family, each one of us
a big one with many colours..

So open your mind, dont just blindly follow
only once you try to look out, you'll find joy within sorrow...

A child is born in Africa
a soldier fallen in Kashmir.
One has a battle with hope ahead,
the other showed no fear.
My heart cries out for humanity,
look what we've done.
We were a beautiful race on Earth
see what we've become.
If only our education was right
if our teachers could inculcate wisdom into us,
we wouldn't have to borrow,
we would look in ourselves and find, the joy within sorrow.....
